I was a pain in the diocese
And yet another album joins the completists’ factory, as Faithlift finishes off T-shirt favourite Some Call It Godcore. Clan Of Xymox actually did a couple of real 4ADCDs, you know. Thanks to gNick, Gary and Martin

…*the* garage door – thanks. But are you sure about the “that”?

Can’t hear any trace of Dave F’s “that”, but on the previous word it seems to be “carbootS”. Definitely isn’t just an extended plosive final Merseyside “t”.
Meanwhile in the corner belonging one particular singular pedant, it could be argued that what NB pronounces is more likely to be the plural “dioceses”. This BBC pron guide gives what is in my (unfortunately considerable) ecclesiastical experience the standard pronunciation of the singular as DY-uh-sis (-y as in sky).
It goes on to tell us that the plural DIOCESES is a little bit more controversial. Dictionaries give several pronunciations such as DY-uh-siss-iz (-y as in sky), DY-uh-seez (-y as in sky, -ee as in meet) and DY-uh-seez-iz (-y as in sky).
But the word has generally been pronounced DY-uh-seez (-y as in sky, -ee as in meet) by members of the General Synod during the recent Lambeth conference, although a few DY-uh-seez-iz (-y as in sky) could be heard.
Always heard the plural pronounced DY-uh-seez meself like.

I definitely here a short syllable before he starts ‘Ain’t…’
It’s quite guttural, maybe it’s ‘It ain’t…’?
